The Saskatoon Labour Market Committee is excited to present the opportunity to connect human resources specialists, educators and career practitioners to dynamic local, provincial and national industry speakers during this two day event. This year's Conference takes place May 7 - 8, 2008, at the Saskatoon Inn in Saskatoon, SK. Choose to attend one day or both days - there is something each day for everyone. Keynote Speaker: Dave Redekopp - Coherent Career Practices Dave had devoted over a decade to the promotion of career development concepts and practices. He is a Principal Partner in Life-Role Development in Alberta and trains hundreds of career development practitioners and organizational leaders annually.

Closing Session: Janice Butler - Energy is Everything Janice has worked with thousands of people - from Fujitsu, The Boeing Company, Air France, the Australian Government, the Kennedy Space Center, Sears Canada, and the New Brunswick and Quebec Governments, just to name a few. She lives in Bear Island near Frederiction and, like an inspiring breeze, Janice enter-trains the audience with her amazing story-telling abilities and keeps them on the edge of their seats. Her enthusiasm is contagious - you will be invigorated by her energy!

Keynote Speaker: Olivia McIvor, Four Generations - One Workplace Over two decades in the field of Human Resource Management and Leadership has supported Olivia's successful career in business management. She is a senior associate, facilitator and presenter with the Izzo Group Ltd., and throughout those 23 years she has consistently inspired audiences with her thought provoking programs.

Closing Session: Gary Merasty - Taking Hold of Saskatchewan's Talent Pool Gary Merasty honed his leadership skills during two terms as Grand Chief of the Prince Albert Grand Council and as a member of Parliament serving Northern Saskatchewan. A member of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation, Gary graduated from the University of Saskatchewan's Indian Teacher Education Program in 1991 and received his Masters of Education in 2004. He has worked as Chief of Staff at the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations, Associate Director of Education in his home community and spent three years with Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Company. Gary is now Vice-President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Cameco.
